All pieces were hand-blown and sculpted from molten glass at 2150 degrees. They vary slightly in size, shape and coloring from piece to piece because of the nature of glassblowing. They are about 4"x4" and weigh about 2lbs on average. Glass moves like honey so the whole heart and process is very fluid in nature. These hearts are meant to be viewed from one side, they sit flat on a table. There is a flat spot on the back to sit on, this flat spot also is where it was connected to the solid rod and disconnected from the rod. When a heart is disconnected from the rod it's sharp and protruding, so a oxygen propane torch is used to reheat the glass, and smooth and smush a flat spot for sitting.

Can they hang? Can hooks be added so they can hang?

-Unfortunately not, with them being so heavy they would be what I would call branch breakers. They also are to large to become necklaces. Necklaces are typically made in a process called flameworking and differ from hot glass made off a pipe.

Can they sit upright?

-They are intended to sit on there back, while I won't change how I make them, some people have found paperweight stands so they can sit upright at an angle.

Can you add ashes into the hearts?

-Yes, Please reach out to me in a message to coordinate. I typically only need a tablespoon of ashes. To added ashes into the glass would be an upcharge of $10.

The photos were taken with a white background and bright white photography lights, No filter was used.

The color mixes are handmade by me and are custom to my work. They already are premixed so no additions or substitutions can be made. All have a white background because the colors are transparent and need a light color to make them standout in a solid object.

Custom orders can be taken but typically wait time is about 4-6 weeks and an upcharge or $10 dollars.

Wholesale orders can be made but typically require about 6 weeks and a minimum order of $300.
